Our Story
KAM is a family owned and operated New Zealand company specialising in supply chain logistics in the primary meat, produce and aquaculture industries across New Zealand.

It is part of the Preston Corp Group, and is closely associated with Preston’s Master Butchers, Preston Foods, Ken Wilson Meats and Taylor Preston.

Our KAM journey started in 1989, with the sole purpose of transporting meat from the City Abattoir (now Taylor Preston) to local outlets.

We have now expanded to a modern fleet of more than 60 trucks, five depots located in Auckland, Wellington, Hastings, Blenheim and Picton, and a transport network spanning from Timaru to Auckland.

Our name (KAM) originates from the initials of the office team at the time: Ken Wilson (founder), Andrea (the office lady) and Margaret Wilson.

Today KAM transports animal by-products from meat processors, bulk product to farms, primary products to factories and warehouses, and finished product to warehouses and retail outlets across and throughout the country using a modern fleet of Scania trucks and a diverse range of trailer systems.
